Overview
In 1994, NESCAUM launched what has become its non-profit sister institution Northeast States Center for a Clean Air Future (NESCCAF) to broaden the foundations of its cutting edge air quality and climate work. Through innovative collaborations involving business, academic, government, and grassroots organizations, NESCCAF works to create effective solutions to critical clean air issues that harmonize environmental, public heath, economic, and other societal goals.
In its relatively short but productive existence, NESCCAF has served as the incubator for a number of collaborative projects, including Clean Air Communities, the Northeast Center for Atmospheric Science and Policy, and the Northeast Diesel Collaborative.
